About Inciting a Riot:

Cary “Vamp” Sullivan earned his Riot MC patch and shoved Lorraine Francis Ingram out of his life six years ago by cheating on her. He’s regretted it ever since because he knew she was a top-notch woman. After mentioning his regrets to his brother, Cal, Vamp suddenly finds himself faced with an opportunity to win Lorraine back. When he runs into her unexpectedly and finds out she has been beaten at the hands of a man, Vamp and his Riot MC Brothers are determined to protect her. Vamp is determined to get her back in his life, and he knows it’s going to be an uphill battle.

Lorraine insists that if any Riot MC Brother is going to protect her, it cannot be Vamp. She gets no promises from the Riot MC, and she finds herself with Vamp at her doorstep. She’s determined there will be no second chances, but her resolve is weakened because Vamp isn’t playing fair, he’s fighting…fighting to win her over.

Once she and Vamp are reunited again, they realize there is a very real threat to them both. Lorraine and Vamp are put to the test to rekindle their long lost love and stay alive.

EXCERPT:

“Eyes on the prize, Mal! Stealing a woman’s shoes is not done. Not ever!”

She nodded, and Trixie moved to the door. She pulled it open, but the other prospect was standing right there. He took one look at the three of us and shook his head.

That was it. Nobody else might have heard it, but my hold on everything from my patience to my temper snapped.

“Don’t you stand there and shake your biker-prospect head at me. That fuckin’ bitch thinks she can steal my shoes, shoes that I worked a year-and-a-half for, without feeling my wrath, you’re completely wrong! If they’re my other pair of Jimmy’s, then they cost as much as one of my mortgage payments. It’ll be a –”

The prospect moved away when Vamp filled the space in front of me. “Take it down a notch, woman. She’s crazy as a jay-bird. We talked about that earlier. You aren’t getting anywhere near her.”

“Bullshit.”

“Yeah, that is total bullshit,” Mallory added, from directly behind me.

From the side of the patio, I heard Cal grumble, “Mallory, not your business.”

“Now that’s bullshit too, because no girlfriend is going to let another girlfriend have her shoes stolen from her. And if a bitch thinks she can try a fool-thing like that, she’s gonna learn a lesson.”

I glared right into Vamp’s blazing blue eyes and said, “This cannot stand.”

“They’re shoes, and apparently they weren’t the name-brand heels you’re talkin’ about, but the motorcycle boots that you’ve had probably since six years ago.”

Whew, that’s a relief! I thought, but I did not give voice to that thought. It would have served her right to think that she stole a pair of Jimmy Choo heels only to get home with her heist and find out they were motorcycle boots.

I heard a voice ask, “Christ! How many pairs of shoes does she have in the back of that thing? Found the bitch carrying that box, but I still saw three boxes of shoes in the back when I passed by just now.”

Confusion was written all over my face and I didn’t need a mirror to know it. Vamp read it, spun on his heel and moved to the side. Rage’s bulky frame replaced Vamp at the door, which prevented me from making any headway toward getting outside.

Then I heard Vamp roar, “What the fuck did you put in her truck, bitch?”

I couldn’t hear or see what Starla might have done, but then I heard Vamp roaring in frustration. Rage turned his head, as we both saw Vamp running toward my vehicle. At that point Starla screeched, “No!”

I didn’t know where the strength came from in me, or if I had just lucked out and taken the brick-wall that was Rage by surprise, but I managed to shove him out of my way and I was running out toward my SUV. Vamp turned around when Starla screamed. He saw me approaching and suddenly he took two huge strides toward me.
