Shadow Spell, the second book in The Cousins O'Dwyer Trilogy was even better than the first book in this series.
Shadow Spell focuses on Connor O'Dwyer and Meara, who have been friends forever and now are mixing it up and becoming more than just friends, although it may take some time to get used to. Meara is actually the one to make the first move.
Cabahan is closing in on Connor and his friends and he is using Meara to get close to them now that she is near and dear to Connor's heart.
The 3 have become 6 and in addition to the magical aspect, they have now included those without powers but who are partners to try to banish the evil of Cabahan.
There is all kinds of magic, including flying horses, in addition to the hawks and hound(s) in this book. There is plenty to laugh over, lots to be cautious about and tons of love and friendship.
Also brought back in this book are Sorcha's children. Can the third book combine their powers to fight the fight over evil?
In the first book Iona and Boyle get together, in the second book Connor and Meara get together and it goes to say that in the third book Fin and Branna will get together.
