MY REVIEW:

Betty, a local florist is engaged to Thom, who she believes is in insurance. She decides that she needs to leave him before their relationship goes any further and leaves her engagement ring and walks out the door. Boom! An explosion of their condo and her kidnapping.

Betty learns that Thom is not really in insurance, but is an operative and he is attempting to figure out who the insider is on his team that has turned and is killing members of the team.

Thom is shocked that Betty was going to leave him and now that she knows much of what is happening and the truth of his background, he sets about proving to Betty that he really does care for her.

I found there were some things left hanging and that was a small downside for me. The other thing was the name of the characters. For some reason they did not resonate with me.

I did love the Kylie Scott ventured into a new area and would definitely keep reading her books as I am a huge fan.
