MY REVIEW:
Morgan Wright is taking over the CEO position from her brother Jensen and she is in the process of transitioning into it. She works hard and harder to make sure she is worthy of the position, especially since she is one of the younger Wrights and a woman.
Patrick is Morgan’s brother’s best friend. She has had a crush on his since she was 15. Patrick works for Wright but has given his notice to go to work for Tech. Is now the time for Patrick to start something with Morgan?
As Patrick is leaving the company, he and Morgan begin to see one another. It has been Morgan’s dream forever to be with Patrick. They decide to keep their relationship a secret. They date and go away together, but, of course, there are stumbling blocks in their path.
Enter Morgan’s Uncle Owen. He treats Morgan unfairly, but Jensen just thinks he is giving her a hard time as Owen did when he became CEO, but Owen has other plans. Morgan has to prove to the Board she is the “Wright” choice.
There were a slew of secondary characters and returning characters that were impressive and I’m hoping each of them gets their own story as with each book I read, I love the series more and more.
A bunch of romance, a bit of mystery and a lot of swoon worthy moments.
I would definitely recommend this book and this series.
