JANUARY 2013 BOOK REVIEWS
I just finished my first book of the year:
Futures and Frosting by Tara Sivec
I liked the first book in this series a little bit better, but still found myself laughing outloud at thing that were very comical. This book was a trainwreck in a funny way. I knew I should not be laughing, but how could you not.
At times I felt that Gavin used phrases that were totally inappropriate and other times I couldn't help but laugh.
I love they dysfunctional dynamics of Clarie, Carter and Gavin. Clarie's friend Liz and her husband Jim and Jenny and her boyfriend/Carter's best friend Drew who is totally insane and doesn't know right from wrong and will never grow up.
Claire's father never sets any guidelines for Gavin.
It appears that all of Claire's dreams are coming true, but is there an unrealized dream that for years she has avoided thinking about? What a cute romance mixed with zany fun and comedy and over the top comments.
I definitely enjoyed reading this book.
